Psychology Services

I am a Chartered Clinical Psychologist based in St Helen’s, Merseyside, offering individual therapy and group support for adults. I offer support to help people understand how their life experiences have shaped the way they interact with themselves and others, as well as supporting people with specific difficulties. These may include:

Individual therapy

Do you feel stuck and unable to move forward in life? Is your life being guided by uncomfortable thoughts and feelings that are keeping you stuck in unhelpful cycles? I am here to support you through life’s challenges, offering understanding, compassion and a non-judgemental space. My role is to listen and help you make sense of your experiences, so you can find adaptive ways to break out of unhelpful patterns and take meaningful steps forwards in line with your goals and values. 

I offer a range of therapeutic approaches including Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT). I may draw upon a number of different therapeutic models to ensure sessions are tailored to your presenting needs. 

The initial step of reaching out for help can feel really daunting but it also shows great courage and a commitment to yourself. What is a clinical psychologist?


A Clinical Psychologist is trained health professional, who supports people to live well and develop coping strategies for a wide range of mental and physical health problems. They can help you to make sense of your difficulties in the context of your life experiences. Clinical Psychologist’s have trained for a minimum of 6 years and are trained to doctorate level.

How often are sessions?


It can be helpful at the start of therapy to meet more regularly, usually meeting weekly or fortnightly. However, the frequency of sessions will be determined by your individual presenting needs and goals for therapy.

How much do sessions cost?


There is no cost involved for the initial consultation, which is an important step in determining if this is the best service to support you with your needs and goals. Assessment and therapy sessions are charged at £120.
